Yesterday was the Media day and official BSB test at Silverstone ahead of Round 1 (19-21st April). It was bitter cold and the first session of the day was full wet and just 6 degrees track temperature. I finished the session 2nd. The next session was also wet but I wasn’t on track for the end to post a good lap time as we were working on some changes to the bike but by session 3 the track had dried and I finished fastest.

Going into the last session of the day, the track remained dry and the fastest times of the day were posted. I ended the day p3 and feeling good on the new PBM Ducati in both the wet and dry. Being a brand new bike there’s still more to come that will make me more comfortable but we are already competitive, my team are working great and i’ve settled in well… so now i’m just focusing on the opening round.
