After being at the top of the times in the practice sessions and qualifying on pole, race 1 didn’t quite go to plan at the weekend, and I had a big high side. Thanks to my IXON suit I was back on the grid for Sunday’s races and came away with P4 and P5. Obviously not the results we wanted but could have been a lot worse. Thankfully I wasn’t seriously injured or hit by another rider. The positive is that we have the pace so now we look forward to round 4 at Brands Hatch in a couple of weeks time.
