Im home in Australia, and for the last 2 years i’ve raced in the St George Summer night series during the off-season from BSB. This year Ive decided to build my own CBR1000RRR race bike to compete again as there’s currently no HONDA representation in Australian Superbikes.
I’ve had help from my new DAO team in the UK as well as from local suppliers such as K-tech, HEL performance, Billetta imports and Van demon exhausts to build a bike in 2 weeks, ahead of round 1. I’ve documented the process on my YouTube channel @joshbrookes25
This weekend was round 1… the weather made it tricky but I qualified pole and took the win so Im pretty happy with that considering the first time I rode the bike was qualifying!
